Yamato Manwa
山登萬和

A koto player of the Yamada school in the Meiji era, he was a pupil of Yamase Kengyo II. He was appointed to the post of Yamato Kengyo in 1869. Lived in Tenjin-cho, Hongo, Edo, and was called "Yamato of Tenjin-cho." He was distinguished from Shorei, the third Iemoto of the Yamato family, one of the three Yamada School families. His real family name is Osuga. His representative works include "Suma no Arashi" and "Kikusui.
